Carnegie Girls U16
The Leeds Carneige U16’s girls compete in the U16’s Premier National League. The team was formed in 2007 and competed for 2 seasons in the U14’s conference and this is their 2nd season in the U16’s and under the leadership of Ben Allen they have developed considerably in the programmes infancy. This year has seen a number of players invited to the EBBA Area Performance Centre and players represent Yorkshire at the U13’s, U15’s and U17’s levels.
With new interest from community sessions, after school clubs and smaller clubs within the region we are also providing two sessions a week for U14’s these are girls only sessions specifically tailored to introduce the game to beginners and nurture talent. We are aiming to enter an U14’s team in to the national league for the 2012-13 season.
